Which journey should I choose for my roof?
After severe weather, choose Claim. To prepare for the next storm, choose Prevention. For a leak, broken tiles or maintenance you have already identified, choose Repairs. Local authorities and building and construction experts have dedicated Municipality and Expert journeys.
See the five journeysWhat should I do after hail or a storm on the roof?
Stay on the ground and use the Claim journey. Describe the damage and state whether you need emergency covering, an inspection, a quote or help with the file. Add the available information without climbing on the roof. If people are in immediate danger, contact the emergency services.
Report a claimWhat is the difference between prevention and repairs?
Prevention identifies and strengthens weak points before a weather event. Repairs address a visible or already identified need: a leak, broken tiles, moss removal, gutters or a solar project. After weather-related damage, choose Claim.
Compare the journeysDo I need to climb on the roof to take photos?
No. Do not climb on the roof. Only send images taken safely from the ground, a window or an existing document. A Tuita operator then completes the assessment on site.
Prepare my fileWhat happens after I send my request?
The Tuita team assesses priority, contacts you and organises the appropriate help through its network covering all of mainland France. The price of any intervention is stated beforehand and coverage remains your insurer’s decision.
