After the tornado, around 300 homes were damaged, including 102 made uninhabitable. Families are still waiting to learn whether they can return home.
At a time like this, reporting a claim is not enough. The roof must be made watertight, usable evidence must be collected and the case must be clear enough for insurers, experts and roofing professionals to move forward.
Tuita acts at this stage, which is too often left waiting.
Anticipating what can be anticipated
Our role is not to replace firefighters, public services, insurers or experts. It is to anticipate what can be anticipated before they step in: gather information, document damage, inspect the roof—including by drone when conditions allow—produce a firm quote and prepare the intervention.
Depending on the complexity of the case, once field information has been gathered, Tuita builds a usable technical roof case file in 15 minutes to 2 hours: assessment, visual evidence, firm quote and intervention forecast.
Reducing the time between claim and action
This stage matters because the rest already takes too long. In home insurance, the average compensation time is 49 days from the opening of a claim. For 20% of cases it exceeds 130 days, and for 10%, 230 days.
The shortage of roofers adds to the delay: in 2025, 82.4% of roofer recruitment projects were considered difficult.
The real blockage is therefore not only compensation. It is everything that comes before it: assessing correctly, documenting damage, costing repairs, prioritising emergencies and coordinating the right people.
When this stage is slow, everything else is delayed: expert assessment, the insurer’s decision, making the property safe and carrying out repairs.
Tuita combines field presence, data, drones, analysis and a professional network to shorten the time between a claim and action while respecting everyone’s role.
We would be pleased to speak with local authorities, public services, insurers and expert-assessment organisations about what we deployed in Aude.
As climate events multiply, we need to document quickly, decide earlier and repair sooner.
That is the role Tuita wants to play.
